Struktury posesywne i partytywne w języku polskim i słoweńskim

Abstract

Rozprawa doktorska poświęcona została synchronicznej analizie kategorii posesywności i partytywności w języku polskim i słoweńskim, z uwzględnieniem aspektów semantycznych i formalnych. Autorka podjęła próbę ustalenia zakresu znaczeniowego obu pojęć oraz klasyfikacji struktur rzeczywiście i pozornie posesywnych, jak również konstrukcji partytywnych, w oparciu o model semantyczny. Badaniu poddano wykładniki gramatyczne tych kategorii, takie jak zaimki i przymiotniki dzierżawcze oraz użycie dopełniacza, a także ich dystrybucję w obu językach. Materiałem empirycznym były teksty z prasy kobiecej, które łączą cechy języka pisanego i potocznego. Istotną część pracy stanowi porównanie formalnych i znaczeniowych cech konstrukcji posesywnych i partytywnych w obu językach oraz propozycja ich klasyfikacji z perspektywy prototypowości. W zakończeniu podkreślono złożoność badanych kategorii oraz zaproponowano kierunki dalszych badań nad ich funkcjonowaniem w dyskursie.

This doctoral dissertation provides a synchronous analysis of the categories of possessivity and partitivity in Polish and Slovenian, examining both their semantic and formal aspects. The author delineates the semantic scope of both concepts and classifies genuinely and ostensibly possessive structures, as well as partitive constructions, based on a semantic model. The study investigates the grammatical markers of these categories – such as possessive pronouns, possessive adjectives, and the use of the genitive case – alongside their distribution in both languages. The empirical material comprises texts from women's magazines, which combine features of written and colloquial language. A substantial part of the thesis is dedicated to a cross-linguistic comparison of the formal and semantic features of possessive and partitive constructions, proposing a classification based on prototype theory. The conclusion highlights the complexity of the studied categories and suggests directions for future research into their functioning in discourse.
