This website is partially compliant with the annex to the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, on account of the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.

• Item descriptions appear in many languages. Where a description is in a different language from the rest of the page, it is not always marked with that language, so a screen reader may read it out incorrectly.
• Some menus cannot be fully operated using a keyboard alone.
• On pages that place a background image behind the title, the title text overlaid on the image may not meet the minimum contrast ratio, depending on the image.
• Interface components provided by the underlying repository platform – for example search filters, submission forms, and administrative screens – have not been individually assessed.
• Many documents deposited in the repository, in particular author-supplied PDFs and scanned material, do not fully meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Audio and video published on or after 23 September 2020 do not have complete captions, transcripts, or audio description.

This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by the Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, using the checklist published by the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
