Description: Seria „Prace Slawistyczne. Slavica” ukazuje się od 1977 roku. Jest najstarszą istniejącą serią w Instytucie Slawistyki Polskiej Akademii Nauk, wydawaną najpierw przez Zakład Narodowy im. Ossolińskich, następnie od 1991 roku przez nowo powstałe wydawnictwo IS PAN (Slawistyczny Ośrodek Wydawniczy). W serii dominują monografie językoznawcze, ale publikowane są również prace dotyczące badań literackich. W latach 1977–2025 ukazało się 157 tomów serii. Od 2021 roku seria jest indeksowana w bazie SCOPUS.Appearing since 1977, the series Prace Slawistyczne. Slavica [Monographs in Slavic Studies. Slavica] is the longest-running series of the Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, initially published by the Ossoliński National Institute (Ossolineum), and then since 1991 by the newly-established ISS PAS publishing house (SOW). The series brings together monographs predominantly in linguistics but also in literary studies. 157 volumes appeared between 1977 and 2025. The Contemporary Porabian Micro-Language: On the Language of the Porabje Slovenes and the Porabje Region in a Language Ecology Perspective

Abstract

Celem niniejszej monografii jest przedstawienie sytuacji i zróżnicowania języka słoweńskiego na Porabju w ujęciu ekologii języka oraz charakterystyka Słoweńców porabskich jako wspólnoty komunikatywnej funkcjonującej w warunkach mniejszości narodowej na terenie Węgier. W kolejnych rozdziałach staram się odpowiedzieć na pytania: jak wygląda sytuacja językowa regionu, jakim językiem lub językami porozumiewają się Słoweńcy porabscy, jaki status ma język słoweński wśród omawianej mniejszości. Szukając odpowiedzi na powyższe pytania ogólne, w monografii odwołuję się do interdyscyplinarnego paradygmatu opisu języka, który wypracowany został w ramach ekologii języka. Wykorzystuję struktury matryc ekologicznych zaproponowanych przez polskich i zagranicznych badaczy do prezentacji szczegółowych kwestii związanych z głównym tematem.
The aim of this book is to present the situation and diversity of the Slovene language in the Porabje region in terms of language ecology and to provide an overview of the Porabje Slovenes as a communication community and a national minority in Hungary. The study examines the current language situation in the region, the language(s) used by the Porabje Slovenes and the status of Slovene in this minority. The discussion draws on an interdisciplinary paradigm of language description developed within the framework of the language ecology approach. It also applies ecological matrices proposed by Polish and foreign researchers to present more detailed issues related to the topic in focus.
