Zbiór „Wydawnictwa Instytutu Slawistyki Polskiej Akademii Nauk [Publications of the Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences]” od 2016 roku pełni rolę platformy książkowej wydawnictwa Instytutu Slawistyki Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Są w nim upowszechniane w otwartym dostępie publikacje książkowe i rozdziały prac zbiorowych, które od 2016 roku ukazują się w wersji elektronicznej (wyłącznie lub równocześnie z wersją drukowaną). Uzupełniają go prace publikowane przez wydawnictwo IS PAN do 2015 roku włącznie, które pierwotnie wydano drukiem i do których uzyskano odpowiednią licencję. Niektóre starsze prace są dostępne w wersji elektronicznej w Repozytorium Cyfrowym Instytutów Naukowych (RCIN), w otwartym bądź ograniczonym dostępie.

IS PAN publikuje prace z zakresu językoznawstwa, literaturoznawstwa, kulturoznawstwa i historii Słowian. Prowadzi sześć serii wydawniczych: „Język na Pograniczach”, „Kultura na Pograniczach”, „Literatura na Pograniczach”, „Prace Slawistyczne. Slavica”, „Idee Wędrowne na Słowiańskich Bałkanach” oraz – we współpracy z Instytutem Ukrainoznawstwa im. I. Krypiakewycza Narodowej Akademii Nauk Ukrainy – „Діалектологічні студії / Studia Gwarowe” Niektóre monografie oraz prace zbiorowe ukazują się okazjonalnie poza seriami.

Polityka wydawnicza IS PAN oraz instrukcje wydawnicze są dostępne na stronie Instytutu. W zbiorze prace deponuje wydawca. Autorzy mają prawo zamieszczać swoje monografie czy artykuły w wersji udostępnionej przez wydawcę w innych repozytoriach lub na własnej stronie internetowej itp. dopiero po ich opublikowaniu w niniejszym zbiorze (por. serwis Jisc open policy finder).

Since 2016, the community “Wydawnictwa Instytutu Slawistyki Polskiej Akademii Nauk [Publications of the Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences]” has been serving as the book publishing platform of the Publishing Department of the Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. The community makes available, on an open access basis, books and chapters in edited volumes published by the Department, which since 2016 have appeared electronically (exclusively or simultaneously with a print edition). The community also includes some books published by the Department before 2016, which originally appeared in print, namely those where the publisher secured an appropriate licence. Some older works published by the Department are available in the Digital Repository of Scientific Institutes [Repozytorium Cyfrowe Instytutów Naukowych, RCIN] in either open or restricted access.

The Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, publishes works in the fields of Slavic linguistics, literary studies, cultural studies and history of Slavs. The Institute runs six book series: Język na Pograniczach [Borderland Languages], Kultura na Pograniczach [Borderland Cultures], Literatura na Pograniczach [Borderland Literatures], Prace Slawistyczne. Slavica [Monographs in Slavic Studies. Slavica], Idee Wędrowne na Słowiańskich Bałkanach [Migrating Ideas in the Slavic Balkans] and – in cooperation with the I. Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – Dialektolohichni studiї / Studia Gwarowe [Dialectological Studies]. Some monographs and collective volumes are occasionally published outside series.

The Institute’s Editorial Policy and Guidelines for Authors are available at the Institute’s website. The works are deposited in the community by the publisher. The authors are entitled to deposit their books or articles in other repositories or publish them on their personal websites etc. in the version made available by the publisher only after the work has been published in this community (cf. Jisc open policy finder).
