Stąd pomysł na zorganizowanie konferencji interdyscyplinarnej, która byłaby okazją do przedyskutowania problemów wsi w wielu ujęciach, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zagadnień językowych. Efektem tego spotkania językoznawców, socjologów, muzealników, antropologów jest prezentowany zbiór tekstów, pozwalający spojrzeć na zmiany językowe, które obserwujemy obecnie, w szerszym kontekście.The intensive and rapid civilizational development of the last decades has marked its presence in all areas of life in Europe. The changes to the conditions of life and work as well as effects of globalization have affected the rural environments in particular. This gave rise to the idea of organizing an interdisciplinary conference which would provide an opportunity to discuss the problems of rural areas from the perspective of different approaches, including especially linguistics. An effect of this meeting of linguists, sociologists, museologists and anthropologists is the presented collection of articles which allow for seeing the language change we are observing in a wider context.

Abstract

Intensywny i szybki rozwój cywilizacyjny w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach zaznaczył swoją obecność we wszystkich dziedzinach życia Europejczyków. Przemiany warunków życia i pracy, globalizacja szczególnie uwidoczniły się w środowisku wiejskim. Stąd pomysł na zorganizowanie konferencji interdyscyplinarnej, która byłaby okazją do przedyskutowania problemów wsi w wielu ujęciach, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zagadnień językowych. Efektem tego spotkania językoznawców, socjologów, muzealników, antropologów jest prezentowany zbiór tekstów, pozwalający spojrzeć na zmiany językowe, które obserwujemy obecnie, w szerszym kontekście.
